So! Here I am. I am Ahzaun Booker; a 23-year-old guy from Dallas, Texas trying to create my comic book series. I started alone, but over time I was able to form an AWESOME team to help me make this dream a reality!

This all started when I was 14 years old. I had a Reflection assignment for my English class. We could tell any story we wanted in whatever format we wanted(give or take a few other requirements). I chose to write a screenplay called, "Bound." It was an origin story about a Young African American kid turned Hero with a personal mission to save his mother from illness. What was killing his mother, was exactly what gave him his abilities. To my surprise, my story was a hit amongst my classmates, as well as my teachers.

For this reason, I haven't stopped pursuing this story. Though, it has changed in content and format along the way. I have considered making it into a movie(I haven't completely ruled it out), a TV show, and a Novel. A comic book, however, is what stuck with me. I love comics myself, and this medium would allow me to tell my story visually while still letting me manage every step of its creation myself. So I dove in headfirst and am chasing that dream of mine. I want to make it a reality finally.

I think it's about time for Dallas, Texas to get its own Black Super Hero, don't you? Let's make it happen! 

Ok, Let me set the scene...

It's a Typical Texas Spring, filled with seemingly never-ending showers and constant overcast. But, what if I told you that the next time you forgot your raincoat, left your umbrella at home, or found yourself getting beat up in an alleyway...*ahem*, the Rain changed you. You don't know if it's for good or for bad. All you know is that you're different. For some, a strong craving washes over their psyche, demanding satisfaction. Others are granted abilities based on the chemical makeup of their mind upon contact. Powers. What is happening and why? Is your family ok? Are you a Freak? Can you handle all of this? 

Our Main Character (Michael Booker- Named after my late Uncle Michael Freeman)finds himself in this dilemma. Follow his journey from a teen riddled with angst and uncertainty to a Young Hero, in "Bound."
